It is with great excitement that we announce the appointment of our current Executive Director, Mrs. Abiola Babatunde-Ojo as the new Managing Director of Prudent Energy and Services Limited (PESL).

Mrs. Abiola has over two decades of experience spanning different job functions, such as audit, accounting, commercial, human resources, trade and finance, and sales across various sectors like banking, oil and gas. She has been an integral part of our company, consistently demonstrating outstanding leadership, dedication, and a strategic vision that aligns perfectly with our goals.

With an impressive track record and a commitment to excellence, she is well suited to lead our company into its next phase of growth and success.

Mrs. Abiola is one of the pioneer employees of Prudent Energy and has been bringing value to the organisation for over a decade. As we welcome her into this new role, we are confident that her leadership will bring fresh perspectives and contribute significantly to the continued success of Prudent Energy.

  • Some of her notable achievements at PESL include, but not limited to the following:
  • Led the team that built the Prudent Energy’s strong client base, setting a record of over 200% growth in turnover and profitability within 2 years
  • Successfully led the entire organisation to achieve corporate goals, cultivating an entensive network of international traders and local financial partners
  • Negotiated trading lines valued at hundres of millions(in USD) with international trade suppliers and financial partners
  • Played an important role in the multi-billion naira strategic acquisition of the majority stake in the 2nd largest fuel retail business in Sub-Saharan Africa with over 600 stations in its network

Mrs. Abiola is a graduate of Statistics from the University of Ibadan. She also holds an MSc from Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, UK in Corporate Governance and Management.

She is currently a Fellow at the Institute of Chartered Accoutants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
