Prudent Energy and Services Limited, an Energy and Commodities indigenous operator in the downstream oil sector of the Oil and Gas industry has unveiled its new corporate Headquarters. The new building situated in Ikeja GRA is a modern infrastructure with amenities to inspire work-life balance for its staff.
The company, which is a wholly-owned Nigerian enterprise with its core area of specialization in the downstream sector of the Nigerian oil industry, commissioned the new building also known as Prudent House in a well-attended commissioning ceremony on August 31, 2020.
“The HQ speaks to our business and company’s vision, says Abiola Babatunde-Ojo, Prudent Energy’s Chief Commercial Officer. “It serves to inspire and motivate us to conquer new frontiers and horizon, and also to seek new opportunities for the company’s growth.”
The new HQ is part of several investments in infrastructure by Prudent Energy and Services Limited to scale its operation in the downstream sector. Last year, the company completed the construction of its 6,000-metric tonne liquefied petroleum gas plant in Delta State, boosting the efforts of the Federal Government at deepening utilisation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), otherwise known as cooking gas with N10.8 billion ($30 million).
Speaking at the event, the CEO of Ardova Plc – a sister company to Prudent Energy – Olumide Adeosun, said:
“Prudent Energy and Services Limited has been a major player in the oil and gas industry. We have people who operated out of the old 18C for nine years, and for everybody to be consolidating in this building – which is big enough to take the entire Lagos operation and some of the Ardova operations as well. It’s quite incredible.”
At the end of the event, The Managing Director Prudent Energy, Alhaji AbdulWasiu Sowami, appreciated the staff, visitors and well-wishers for celebrating with Prudent Energy on the commissioning of its building.
“I am very grateful you all are here, and I pray that the grace of God we will all have good things to celebrate in our lives,” he adds.
