AbdulWasiu Sowami
AbdulWasiu SowamiGroup Executive Chairman
Sowami, an Alumnus of the University of Maiduguri, and a Master’s degree holder in Corporate Governance from Leeds Becket University, UK, began his career with Besse Oil and Services Limited, moved on to Cosmos Oil Limited and later to Ignite Energy Limited. He served in various capacity in these organizations specifically downstream operations before leaving to establish Prudent Energy in 2004.
He has a robust industrial background and experience, spanning over two decades in the energy sector, especially, in Petroleum Products Marketing, Distribution, and Logistics.
Sowami, an Associate Member of Institute of Directors, is happily married with children.
Abiola Babatunde-Ojo
Abiola Babatunde-OjoManaging Director
A versatile and commercially astute executive board member with demonstrable and consistent track record in boosting organizational revenue growth. Abiola has over 20 years multifaceted experience spanning the banking and oil & gas Industry. Her career started at the Former Standard Trust Bank (now UBA) where she took up various roles until 2011. She joined Prudent Energy in 2012 and proactively took charge of the company’s financial management and the oil trading portfolio. Having worked in various capacities in the organization, Abiola currently has overall responsibility for broadening market share and integrated commercial success of the organization.
Abiola is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant Nigeria and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria. She is an alumna of the prestigious University of Ibadan having graduated with a BSc Degree in Statistics from the institution and a master’s degree holder in Corporate Governance from Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, UK. She has attended several trainings locally and internationally.

Engr. Oladimeji Oladoja
Engr. Oladimeji OladojaGM, Depot Operations
Oladimeji has over 18years of working experience. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering (Second Class Upper Division Honors) from the University of Lagos and has attended various courses in LPG (Quality, Bulk Handling, Storage and Terminal Operations), Tank Farm Operations (Dynamic & Sustainability), Designing/Construction of bulk liquid storage tanks and other Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental courses. He is an affiliate member of Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and Institute of Chemical Engineers UK.
Prior to joining Prudent Energy, he has worked with Capital Oil Plc as the Depot/Engineering Manager (4yrs), Conoil Plc as the Terminal Engineer and Operational Safety Engineer (8yrs) and also worked with KPMG Audit Nigeria as an Audit Assistant for one year.
Dimeji is primarily responsible for all LPG/Clean Petroleum Products Depot Terminal operation/Product Custodian and Engineering Planning and other non-traditional operations of Prudent Energy. His task covers liaising with all concerned government agencies and relating with host communities where Prudent Energy operates.
AbdulLateef Abioye
AbdulLateef AbioyeGM, Supply and Trading
Lateef graduated from University of Ilorin with a Second-Class Upper division in Microbiology in 2005. He also attended the Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, where he bagged a Second-Class Upper division in Applied Accounting.
His banking career began in July 2007 with IBTC Chartered Bank Plc (now Stanbic IBTC Plc) spanning across domestic operations, international trade, structured trade, and commodity finance. He is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) and holds the Certificate in International Trade and Finance from the IFS School of Finance, United Kingdom.
He joined Prudent Energy & Services Ltd in February 2014, as Manager in charge of Trade Operations overseeing petroleum products import shipping, logistics and general marine operations.
Lateef holds Certificate in Ship Chartering from Lloyds Maritime, United Kingdom and has attended trainings in International trade, shipping and downstream petroleum product trading in Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana.
Adeola Bello
Adeola BelloGroup Executive, Business Development & Expansion
Adeola Bello has over 12 years of industry experience gained from diverse industries in the Country, spanning across Oil and Gas (6 years), Business and financial advisory (over 3 years), Information technology (3 years). In addition, Adeola is a seasoned tax and financial reporting facilitator with over 9 years’ experience.
He graduated from the Lagos State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Second class upper division) in Accounting and holds a Master of Science degree (Grade A distinction) in Finance from The Crescent University. He is a seasoned Chartered Accountant, Certified Tax Practitioner, Certified Fraud Examiner, and a dynamic professional.
Adeola’s work experience has exposed him to various financial institutions, the oil and gas industry, Consulting in areas of financial management and control, project finance and management, risk analysis and management, corporate governance consulting, financial analysis, and various financial services. He is a senior Tax facilitator at Synergy Professionals – a certified ICAN and ACCA learning institution.
Adeola is currently the Financial Controller and has developed and implemented risk management framework and assessment, standard internal audit charter, risk based internal audit plan and other control policies to further aid a sound corporate governance practices within the organization.
Prior to joining Prudent Energy & Services Ltd., he has worked as a consultant with various firms including BDC – Berger Paints Plc (Internal Audit & Assurance Advisory), Gina Consults – Eko Hotels and Suites, Cyberspace Limited, (Business Process Reengineering), Arkounting Professional Services- Capital Bancorp, ADIC Insurance, Sovereign Trust Insurance (Risk management framework implementation, Senior management board training, Internal Audit services).
He is a Fellow, Institute of Management Consultant (UK), and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the acclaimed Institute of Internal Auditors (USA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (USA).
He served as member and immediate past Vice Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) – ATSWA Executive Committee for 6 years.
He has also served on the Board of Directors of BetaPlus Limited an affiliate of LIB Insurance Brokers Limited as a Non-Executive Director.
Kamil Adebumola
Kamil AdebumolaHead, IT
Kamil Adebumola holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology (MIT) from prestigious University of Lagos and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Economics from Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State. He is a UK trained Information System Security Professional. He began his IT career in 2002 as a certified JAVA & Web programmer, and an Agile Project Manager (APM-Agile).
Kamil possess sound knowledge and competencies in Information Security framework- Cryptography analysis- encryption algorithm, IT Governance, Data Loss Prevention, General Data Protection Regulation and Business Continuity to ensure business sustainability and continuity. Kamil’s experience transcend Information Technology, he is an astute Project Management Professional, with versed experience in Project, Contract and Tender Administration Management. He’s well acquainted with NIPEX, IOCs and NNPC tendering and bid administration end-to-end process-award to contract management. He works as Team Lead in various tendering process among which has earned the company awards of various Crude Contracts from NNPC and IOCs.
He currently oversees the development and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, IT projects, performance, standards, priorities, procedures, review the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, equipment and service level agreement. He also managed the administrative department for 7years, working with team members to ensure good and safe working environment; develop and implement policies, standard operating process to coordinates management of various administrative activities.
Kamil is happily married with beautiful children. He’s the immediate past President of Crescent University Alumni Association.
Shamsideen Ayo Adeyemi

A graduate of Accounting, University of Maiduguri. As a proactive individual, he began his work life with Unilever Plc in 2007 as a Merchandiser and later moved to Intercontinental Bank Plc as a Marketer. He has over 2 years’ experience in FMCG companies and over 3 years in Banking sector (Retail Banking). For his ability to achieve targets and dedication to the job, he received many awards as a banker during the era of “Happy Customer, Happy Bank”.
From banking, he later joined Prudent Energy & Services Ltd in Finance Department where he judiciously manages and controls the company’s inventory. For his passion for Sales & Marketing, he later moved to Sales Department within same Prudent Energy where he got elevated up to Managerial level.
Presently, he is the Head Sales Prudent Energy & Services Ltd. A holder of Masters Degree in Business Administration, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), a member of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA) and member Institute of Sales & Marketing Management of Nigeria (ISMMN). He is happily married with kids.
Qudrah Olaitan
Qudrah OlaitanHead, Human Resources
Qudrah Olaitan has an MSc in International Human Resources from Rome Business School where she focused on HR Analytics and Employee Engagement. She is also a graduate of Microbiology from the University of Ilorin. She is an experienced professional with over 10 years’ experience that cuts across Human Resources, Administration, Organizational Development.
She is a Capacity builder and constantly works with different classes of working professionals by empowering them with the right intervention to effectively steer their aspirations. She has worked in quite several sectors including the health and not-for-profit sector, where she has demonstrated her commendable skills. During her time with Human Support Services, an NGO, she took up several projects with the European Union, one of which is “Migrant’s Rights”, which involved the analysis of migration issues. This resulted in creating awareness on the dangers of illegal migration amongst youths in the project community.
In 2012, she got employed as an administrative supervisor and her excellence in the role got her reassigned to pioneer the HR department of Prudent Energy and Services Limited, which was growing her clientele and staff data base at that time. She is currently the Head of Human Resources Department, with over a staff count of Two hundred (200) and a 0.2% employee turnover all through these years.
Qudrah is an HR generalist whose current job role include creation and management of several confidential employee records, creation and implementation of interview, employee engagement and exit program process, development of an objective pay grade and structure by analyzing and benchmarking against current employee compensation benefits in the Oil and Gas sector, acting as an internal consultant during the company restructuring process in conjunction with PWC and ASA Talent Managers, also, co-leading the team responsible for the company’s ISO certification project, amongst others. In her spare time, she volunteers for development events and activities with organizations such as HACEY health initiative; an NGO whose primary aim is to improve the health and productivity of people in Africa, and Poise Graduate Finishing Academy, whose goal is to re-engineer the Nation’s workforce.
She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Managers (ACIPM), a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHRi) from the Human Resource Certification Institute, Virginia USA, an Associate Member of Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Alberta Canada. She is also a Certified Emotional Intelligence Specialist and a life coach in training.
Olumuyiwa Okunola
Olumuyiwa OkunolaFinancial Operations Manager
Olumuyiwa Okunola (ACA) is currently the Financial Operations Manager of Prudent Energy and Services Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Practitioner with over 12 years cognate experience in auditing, accountancy, internal controls design and review, tax and financial management consulting. He joined Prudent Energy and Services Limited in August 2018 as Team Lead, Accounts Unit responsible for financial and management accounts reporting activities of the company up until November 2020 when he was promoted and charged to be responsible for financial operations of the organization.
Prior to joining Prudent Energy, Olumuyiwa worked with Inlaks Computers Limited as a Senior Accountant where he was responsible for the General Ledger and Statutory functions of the company. Prior to this also, he trained as a Senior Associate Consultant with Parlance AC Limited and AJ&E (Chartered Accountants) where he was in-charged of major audit, tax and consultancy engagements. He also worked with (Bounty Harvest Consult and TISO Chartered Accountants) where he developed his skills in auditing, tax professional and financial management consultancy services. At the very early stage of his career, he trained briefly with Noah & Co. (Solicitors & Counselors) where he acquired some legal experiences.
He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Accounting Bodies of West Africa (ABWA) and Association of Accounting Technicians of West Africa (AATWA). He holds a BSc degree in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and has attended several requisite training courses within and outside the country.
He is seasoned and brings valuable and immeasurable experience to the organization.
Aina Sururat Sowami
Aina Sururat SowamiGM, Corporate Services
Sururat is a multi-skilled professional with experience in Human Resources and Administration with strong business acumen. She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Rome Business School, Italy and a BSc. in Marketing from Al-Hikmah University.
With her knowledge, skills and experience; Sururat has been involved in the recruitment of new talents, organizational restructuring, strategic workforce planning, payroll and compensation administration and employee relations. She has contributed to the improvement of HR policies and procedures while as a Human Resources executive. At this role, she also provided timely and relevant HR advice to both managers and employees whilst making sure both the employees and employers’ interests are best represented.
Currently, Sururat heads the Corporate Services unit at Prudent Energy and Services Limited where she plans and coordinates administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes. She oversees facilities services and inventory of office supplies while keeping in check costs and expenses to align with the organisation’s budget.
Engr. Rasheed Aina
Engr. Rasheed AinaDepot Manager
Engr. Rasheed Olalekan Aina has over 16 years of experience gained in Oil & Gas (12yrs) and other Industries (4yrs). He is a graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University) and holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Oil, Gas and Energy Management from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo and South American University, Delaware USA.
He is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a demonstrated work history in manufacturing, production, electrical and construction companies in Nigeria. He worked at Industrial Petroleum Engineering & Services Limited, Heinrich Friedrich Schroeder (W.A) Limited and Chellarams Plc prior to joining the team in 2012.
Engr. Rasheed have attended various courses in Tank Farm Operations & Performance, HSE Management, Operation and Maintenance of Depot Metering Facility, Pumps, Valves & Compressor Selection, Trouble Shooting & Repair of Depot Equipment.
As part of his role as a Depot Manager, he focuses on technical and operational innovations to support the long-term sustainable growth of the business while assuming leadership responsibilities for asset maintenance and development and, system and process optimization across the value chain.
Engr. Rasheed is an associate member of COREN (Council for the Regulations of Engineering in Nigeria), NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers) and NGA (Nigerian Gas Association).
He is blessed with a wife and children.
